Miss USA 2013: Brief Bio of Misses Missouri, Montana & Nebraska

Miss Missouri: Ellie Holtman
Hometown: Montgomery City
Height: 5'11''
Age: 20

Ellie Holtman is currently a third year student at St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Having grown up in the pharmacy that her parents own, she is still sometimes referred to by her nickname, "drugstore baby." Her love for science and helping others inspired her to go to pharmacy school and follow in her mother's footsteps. She plans to graduate with her Doctorate's degree in pharmacy and would love to work in a children's hospital one day. At school, Ellie is actively involved in the professional pharmacy fraternity, Lambda Kappa Sigma.

"When I walk across the stage I feel as if I can achieve anything. That feeling is powerful and makes me feel unstoppable. Pageants have taught me how to transfer this energy into my everyday life."



Miss Montana: Kacie West
Hometown: Kalispell
Height: 5'8''
Age: 24

Kacie West is a 24 year-old graduate from Montana State University in elementary education with a science emphasis. She is currently substitute teaching at local elementary, middle, and high schools while applying for teaching positions for the fall.

Kacie currently lives in Kalispell, Montana, and is a 2007 Flathead High School Valedictorian and graduate. She is an active competitive swimmer, avid swing dancer, musical theater enthusiast, and a former member of the Northwest Ballet Company where she performed in shows such as, “The Nutcracker,” “Midsummer Night’s Dream,” and “Alice and Wonderland.”


"The people I have had the pleasure to meet and work with while preparing for the Miss USA Pageant are honestly some of the most talented, genuine and generous people I have known and have made me feel truly cared for and many have become life-long friends."

Miss Nebraska: Ellie Lorenzen
Hometown: Omaha
Height: 5'7''
Age: 22

Ellie Lorenzen is currently an honors student at Lindenwood University, studying fashion design and retail merchandising.

Ellie is very involved in different charitable organizations but is extremely passionate about the Miss Amazing Pageant (in which she is the current state director), a pageant for girls and young women with physical and mental disabilities.This pageant system provides the opportunity for girl to build confidence and important life skills through pageantry. As Miss Nebraska, she hopes to be a spokes model for girls with disabilities and help spread the word of the Miss Amazing Pageant throughout the country.
