Beauty in Focus: Jamie Herrell, Miss Earth-Philippines 2014

Cebuana superbeauty, Jamie Herrell will never leave any stone unturned to capture the second Miss Earth crown for the Philippines. Before she'll leave for her biggest pageant stint abroad (rumored to be staged in Macau) let's get to know her more:)

1. Just like anyone else, she also had a share of triumphs and defeat. Although She won three titles last year as Sinulog Festival Queen 2013, Miss Tourism Ambassador of the Philippines 2013 and Reyna ng Aliwan 2013 she went home unplaced when she competed for Miss Resorts World Manila 2013.

2. Jamie's fellow Cebuana beauty, Karla Henry is the first Asian who won the title of Miss Earth. Would she be able to duplicate Karla's feat? It's a tough act to follow, but knowing Jamie's sterling qualities, she is also as capable as Karla in achieving an international beauty crown.

3. Before she won the national title, she's an acting student at the International Academy for Film and Television at the University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu City. Her studies are currently put on hold as she prepares for the upcoming Miss Earth beauty quest.

4. California, USA was her birthplace but she's raised in Placer (Masbate). She is 19 years old and stands at 5 feet and 7 inches tall. She may not have the towering height, but her glowing personality would surely stand out and her eloquence would make her shine through.

5. Armed with her unwavering environmental advocacy on Anti-Animal Cruelty, she will be competing with the rest of 89+ expected delegates in the 14th edition of Miss Earth with the date and venue still unconfirmed.
