Still A Happy Birthday No Less!

Bird's eye view of the scenic Pattaya bay from the lavishly sophisticated lounge in Drift Bar
located inside the upper floors of Hilton Hotel and Resort, Pattaya, Thailand.

Yesterday marked my 27th birthday and your celebrant blogger wouldn't just let the day pass by without celebrating God's goodness the past years and in the years to come as well.

Feasted on the lunch buffet served at the Edge Dining and Restaurant in Hilton Hotel and Resort while enjoying Pattaya's panoramic shorelines.

Life's really tough especially when you lose your parents at an early age and you grew up being an orphan without literally having your own biological father and mother to nourish and guide you. That you have to always remind yourself to be strong enough and to stand in your own feet regardless of the circumstances simply because no one's gonna be there for you to pick you up when you're down. It is even an absolute requisite to stay unperturbed no matter how overwhelming the problems can be. Apologies if you found my post quite sentimental and nostalgic. Although I'm not really the type of person who can wade much comfortably into life's despondent theatrical drama but everytime my natal day comes by, I'm reminded of my struggles and there's always this coveted yearning to at least celebrate this special day with my parents' presence.

The birthday celebration wouldn't be complete without relaxing at Pattaya's Jomtien beach. I would like to spend the whole day at the beach so I decided to go ahead
even days prior to my natal day.

However on a positive note, their eternal absence also reminds me of God's Providence that though orphaned for almost two decades now, I've made it through the toughest times, hurdled the obstacles, and rose above life's adversities with flying colors:) Therefore, Birthdays (for me) in its very essence is nothing but a simple commemoration of life's sweetest triumphs over hard-fought battles, a celebration of God's Love, Faith, Hope and New Beginnings. And I'm proud to say that I've survived it all and forever will by God's Grace:) CHEERS!

After a mouthful of all-you-can-eat delicious cuisines served
at the Edge, your blogger couldn't wait to unwind and chill at
Drift's chic and fab couch gorgeously floating on the waters
while waiting for the breathtaking sunset view to unfold.
