Valerie Clacio Weigmann Wins Miss World CamSur 2014

Miss World CamSur 2014 Valerie Weignmann crowned by MWP's Director Cory Quirino

As part of the pre-pageant activity leading to the finals of Miss World Philippines 2014, the girls competed for the title of Miss World CamSur last night held in Iriga City Coliseum province of Camarines Sur (The ladies' official tourist destination). In a bevy of 26 delegates who competed for three categories: Cocktail Dress, Swimsuit and Question and Answer, it was candidate number 19, Valerie Weigmann who stood out above the rest with her gilt-edge Q&A performance and peerless winsome stance. She was crowned by no less than MWP's matriarch Cory Quirino and proclaimed the rightful winner of Miss World-CamSur (previously won by Megan Young last year in Laguna).

Kagandahang Flores' bet Rachel Peters almost stole the thunder from Valerie when she bagged the lion's share of special awards- Miss Photogenic and Best in Swimwear. Fans were expecting that the fiercest battle for the crown will be fought between Lorraine and Valerie however with Rachel's victorious stint last night it seems that the tides are now turning on her favor. Could this be a prophetic premonition of the greater things to come on the grand coronation finale? What's your take?
