When Valerie Weigmann returned home to her native province in Albay, she never missed the opportunity to take part in helping her 'kababayan' who were safely evacuated far from the Permanent Danger Zone after the Mayon Volcano threatened to erupt recently.
The pride of Albay had only good words to say to the leaders in her province who spearheaded the safe evacuation of the residents and made sure their most basic needs were provided during their stay in the Evacuation Centers.
And as expected, the newly-crowned Queen had the utmost pleasure as she distributed some essential goodies to the pre-schoolers and spread cheers and love to the families who were uprooted from their homes.
Valerie was even quoted saying during the press conference that she would always love to go back after her term and would like to work with the governor on special advocacies that would greatly benefit the indigenous people in Albay.
The Miss World aspirant really means serious business with her responsibility. We wish you all the best Valerie:) May your reign be a wellspring of joy and a blessing as you touch more lives and make a difference to the world.
