Top 10 Reasons Why You Should Include Papaya In Your Diet Plan

I love eating fruits!  Almost everynight, I would go to the 'Big C' Central Supermarket here in Pattaya which is just a stone's throw away from my accommodation and the hospital where I work to buy some fresh combination of dragon fuit, pineapple/honeydew melon and a good chunk of orange-colored-flesh papaya, neatly sliced and packed in one container for a very affordable price. Aside from the fact that it's incredibly delicious, I feel greatly rewarded for its awesome health benefits. And here are some other good reasons why you too, should start including fresh papaya in your daily diet:

1.Enriched with Vitamin C which can strengthen the immune system to combat disease and helps in the efficient collagen formation for a healthier, glowing skin.

2.Packed with Beta Carotene which has a powerful antioxidant ability. Promotes healthier vision, sperm production and maintenance of epithelial functions, growth and development.

3.Contains Folic Acid (Folate) which is a water-soluble B vitamin (this is particularly beneficial to pregnant women) that helps reduce the risk of birth defects affecting the baby's brain and spinal cord (Neural Tube Defect). It also helps in Red Blood Cell formation.
