Miss International Queen 2015
Yes you read it right, the year is still 2016. The pageant was supposed to be held last year but due to the passing of the beloved Monarch of Thailand, the contest was postponed.

The world's most glamorous and largest beauty pageant for transgender and transvestite women is happening right here in Pattaya City, Thailand on March 10th at 9:00 in the evening (Thailand Time). Miss International Queen 2015 Trixie Maristela from the Philippines will crown her successor at the Tiffany's Show Theatre. Twenty-six trans ladies from around the world have converged in the city to compete for the most coveted crown of Miss International Queen. "Stand Proud" is this year's pageant theme which echoes the sentiments of respect and acceptance to these beautiful beings for standing up for who they truly are deep within amidst the overwhelming bigotry and intolerance towards those who do not conform to the society's conventional 'standards'.

Venezuela (Andrea Collazo), Thailand (Jiratchaya Sirimongkolnawin), Philippines (Sabel Gonzales and Stacy Biano), USA (Camille Anderson), Laos (Wanmai Thammavong), Malaysia (Zzyra Zahry), Brazil (Nathalie de Oliveira), Japan (Maika Kunisaki), and Cambodia (Reelawadee) are my Top 10 Picks for the crown. So among the contenders this year, who do you think will stand proud and victorious come finale night? Your guess is as good as mine.
