Will Pia Wurtzbach Be A Fair Judge To Miss Philippines?

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach will sit as a telecast judge in
Miss Universe 2017

Rachel Peters, Miss Universe Philippines 2017.
Now that Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach was named as one of the telecast judges for the finals of Miss Universe 2017, will she be a fair judge to Miss Philippines Rachel Peters?

This has been the million dollar-worth question which most of the pageant fanatics have raised as Pia being one of the judges can be a double-edged sword.

If Pia votes for Rachel and if she wins, Pia might be bashed heavily by the non-Filipinos.  And if Rachel won't make it in the winning circle, Pia will still be bashed, this time, by a mob of rabid Filipino fans.

The speculations of Pia not wanting another Filipina win in Miss Universe at this very early had also been the talked of the pageant forums lately since she might not have liked the idea that her recent victory in 2015 and her current popularity might be overshadowed by a new Filipina Miss Universe. And this is the other factor why, Pia, aside from the possible bashing that she will get, might vote against her fellow compatriot.

Thankfully, Pia isn't the only judge in the finals who will select the winner. There are five other judges. The former Miss Philippines also knows how it feels to be there on stage since she was once a delegate and hopefully, she will try her utmost best to be objective and be a fair judge to all the delegates competing including the Philippines.

And Pia, regardless of the victory of Rachel or any other Filipinas in the near future, will always be remembered in history as the one and only Miss Universe 2015 and the most popular Miss Universe (if you will) with her very unconventional crowning moment.
